About the Job
Georgia REACH Interventionist Coastal Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is recruiting for a Georgia REACH Interventionist. The Georgia REACH program focuses on those who care for someone with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia. The Interventionist delivers information and training specific to the needs of each caregiver through home visits and telephone calls. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing or a related field. Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and caregiving, as well as experience specific to older adults is a plus. Strong organizational skills, demonstrated written and verbal skills are required. Travel required in 9 county region. Microsoft Office applications proficiency required. Ability to work well with people of all backgrounds, incomes, ages, races and disabilities. Bilingual skills a plus. Valid State of Georgia Driver's License and good driving record.
