Specific Job Description Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Geospatial Analyst: Provides geospatial analysis techniques against assigned targets. Exploits and manipulates geospatial data in appropriate formats in support of customer specific directed intelligence analysis and reporting. Acquires, stores, analyzes, maintains, and displays geospatial information in formats including complex graphics, textural reports and briefings. Extracts geospatial information, derivative information and multi-INT data from selected sources for analysis and visualization and applies geospatial analytical methods to solve problems and enhance knowledge for intelligence issues. Additional functions include producing various geospatial datasets and visualizations of geospatial information and intelligence to satisfy customer requirements; provide representational support for internal and external meetings as required. Works closely with All-Source and Imagery Analysts to compile geographic data from representations of areas of interest or specific locations related to a person of interest, compiling data from multiple intelligence sources. Creates geospatial products for internal analysis as well as customer delivery. GIS products include; shapefiles, geodatabases, kml and kmz files for use with both ArcGIS and Google Earth. Position will require periodic travel within CONUS and six month deployments to OCONUS locations. Generates intelligence-based assessments for use by tactical operators and planners during mission-planning cycle. Interfaces with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations. Analyzes military operational needs to determine functional and cross-functional military intelligence requirements and their relationship to military operations. Perform resource allocation to identify and accomplish specific intelligence tasks. Provides advice to specific contacts, such as Team Chief, Chief, or Survey Analysis Centers. Develops intelligence exploitation guidance and interrogation strategies. Interfaces with linguists and identifies priority documents critical to the missions. Oversee triage process of all forms of exploitable media captured. Performs a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: maintain database on specified targets intelligence, process current and historical data collected, make requests for information to internal and external agencies as needed in support of mission planning, provide source directed requirements to guide exploitations, accompany exploitation missions. Acts as the subject matter expert for all intelligence matters dealing with their specialty.
