We are currently hiring for a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager for our Pittsburgh office.
- 7-15 years Consulting Geotechnical Engineering Experience
- BS in Civil Engineering, Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- PE registration preferred.
- Position requires strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple clients.
- Must be an exceptional communicator (verbally and in writing).
- Business development/marketing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work within a large, multi-office, corporate civil/site engineering practice.
- Local/national client contacts are a plus.
-Geotechnical project assignments will include geotechnical subsurface investigations related to site civil and landfill design (building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, and pavements), as well as management of construction materials testing services for commercial and landfill projects.
-Typical geotechnical subsurface investigation project duties will include coordination or monitoring subsurface drilling, obtaining soil and rock samples, preparing boring logs, developing laboratory testing programs, interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses, and report preparation.
-Typical construction materials testing project duties will include management, coordination, supervision, review and direction of technician staff for earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry and pavement construction testing
