German Sales Manager
About the Vacancy:
Our Client is growing its German customer base, and needs a driven, high-achieving, experienced sales expert to help win business in Germany.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team within a multilingual sector and once you have proven your sales ability and helped to secure some key contracts, you will be responsible for helping to recruit, train and manage a high-performance sales team.
Salary: 22-30k basic (depending on experience) + double OTE
Main Duties Responsibilities:
Sales
· Consulting with clients, listening to their needs and presenting the service and company
· Preparing quotations and detailed proposals
· Prospecting and generating new leads through networking and events
· Working hard to achieve rewarding targets
· Following up prospects and guiding them through the sales process
· Setting appointments with prospective customers
· Closing deals
· Liaising with Project Managers to initiate projects
· Effectively handling client objections
· Identifying opportunities for testimonials and case studies, and informing Marketing Manager of these
· Supporting Marketing Manager with local market knowledge
· Requesting referrals from clients
Management
· Recruiting and managing a high-performance sales team
· Training, motivation and development of German sales team
· Performance reporting
· Leading team meetings
· Creating an environment where high performance is sufficiently important to each individual, by introducing role relevant incentives
· Implementing procedures that prevent poor future performance
You
· Experience of building and managing a high performance sales team
· Proven sales experience
· Native German speaker, fluent in English
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
· Conscientious team player who uses initiative
· A focused attitude and a drive for personal achievement
· Exhibits a high level of performance under pressure, and to tight deadlines
