German speaking Economic Research Analyst, London recruitment
A global investment bank is looking to hire an Economic Research Analyst to join their Fixed Income Sales and Trading team here inLondon.
The Trading business provides markets and liquidity in an extensive range of fixed income products, whether as Primary, Secondary or Repo counterparty. The Sales platform offers a highly experienced professional client facing team who cover all the markets for Institutional and Hedge Fund accounts, across theUK, EMEA and theUS.
As part of the research function, you will offer opinions and out looks based on areas of expertise and flows being seen by the firm. As part of your role, you will be supporting the European Chief Economist in covering the Eurozone andGermany, in the follow areas:
- Macroeconomic data collection, analysis and forecasting of EU countries
- Tracking and analysing European economic and political events
- In-depth analysis of German economy and political process
- Contributing to written commentaries produced by the research team
- Supporting traders and clients with economic information and analysis
In order to qualify for this position, you will have:
- Min MSC in Economics
- Previous experience of economic researching and forecasting, focusing on the Euro
- Strong mathematical ability
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Fluency in German language
