Germany office -PE Investment Manager / Investment Director recruitment
The client:
The client is a European Private Equity player investing capital within Medium Sized Companies within Europe. Their typical investments targets range from a variety of classical industry sectors including industrials, automotive, TMT, healthcare, retail, consumer, energy and many other “generalist” industries. The client has several offices and investment teams across Europe and now seek to add a senior investment professional to their offices in Germany where you will be responsible for investments within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Your role will involve the whole cycle range of analysis and identification of investment targets as well as deal closing and management of the portfolio companies. You will also be involved in the management and coaching of more junior team members. A very attractive package will be offered to the right profile, which includes a carry from day one. This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for professionals within the industry / corporate space to move over to a leading private equity fund. Location will be discussed at a later stage.
Your profile (approximately 7 - 12 years working experience):
The ideal profile for the candidate will have a mixture of top tier strategy consulting or investment banking experience + experience working with a leading corporate or within the industry (e.g. corporate strategy, corporate planning, corporate MA, operational management, people management etc.) The candidate will have consistently performed above peers throughout their academic and working career and have a keen interest, passion and natural flare for investing. Your previous working experience should be within the more generalist industry sectors such as industrials, automotive, TMT, healthcare, retail, consumer, energy or other similar “generalist” industry. This is a German coverage role, it is essential that you are fluent in German.
