Senior Gas analyst:
We are looking for the front office at the Mannheim gas at the earliest possible date for a Senior Analyst gas (m / f) in permanent employment.
What to expect from us:
Assist the dealer / management in the development of trading strategies
Analyze and evaluate the developments on the international gas and oil markets
Development and optimization of econometric models and calculation tools
Analyze the interdependencies between different markets and products
Continuous further development of the methodology in the preparation of Price-Forward Curves, assessment surcharges, and optimization tools Hedgingtools
Create forecasts and reports for the management of the company.
Your skills:
University degree with analysts' mathematical orientation
Several years of experience as an analyst, ideally in the energy environment is an advantage
Strong knowledge of the relationships in the energy
Good mathematical and statistical knowledge
Experience with programming in the preferred, Matlab and VBA
Good knowledge of MS Office products, and the English language in written and spoken and German atleast at conversational and reading level.
Analytical and conceptual thinking and entrepreneurial action and a compelling, customer-oriented outlook coupled with a pronounced communication and assertiveness complete the requirements.
