Through its distinct operating subsidiaries, our corporate company owns and operates a diversified portfolio of $1.1 billion of clean renewable electric generation and sustainable utility distribution businesses in North America and regulated distribution utility business providing water and electric utility services.  The corporation  will be expanding their operations in the regulated utility industry in New Hampshire to gas electric utility distribution.  

Our Operations Department has an opening for an experienced GIS/Mapping Supervisor to join our new organization with supervising the day-to-day electrical and gas GIS/Mapping activities and programs while providing supervision to two Geographical Information System/Maps and Records technicians ensuring the integrity of the Gas Electrical system maps data integrity, records management and dissemination.  In this role, you will report to the Director of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for supporting engineering, design, and operations functions to conduct their daily assignments, GIS designs and complex designs, producing high quality work products.  The successful candidate will be participating in customer and municipal/government meetings as the Company’s Mapping and Records Representative.   

Qualifications:

Associate Degree required GIS degree and/or Bachelor’s preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of gas /electrical operations with a focus on GIS/Mapping.

Strong familiarity with GIS and CAD software. 

Five years as a GIS application environment, GIS Certification is a plus.

Knowledge of utility infrastructure maps, records, and documents including documentation and storage systems required.

Knowledge of utility equipment and its depiction on drawings in records and use of GIS drawings and records for compiling with the governmental agency requirements for Dig Safe and internal company policy required.

Knowledge of engineering drawings as a resource for project construction, operations, maintenance support, and review/approval processes required.

Familiarity of utility practice and business management including regulatory requirements desired.

Ability to descend/ascend ladders and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds required.

Flexible with traveling within the US and Canada required.

Valid driver’s license required.
