Global Audit Manager
Eximius is currently working on behalf of a major investment bank, who in turn are part of one of the largest banking groups in the world, to recruit an audit manager for the Global Markets and Investment Banking team.
The role is based in Paris, but would involve travelling around the world (mainly major financial hubs) about 20 - 40% of the year in 2 - 3 week trips.
Globally this team is spread across America, Europe and Asia, and covers all of the major trading desk and treasury business. The bank is a strong reputation for stability, growth and progression, and is particularly the case within the audit/inspection team.
Ideally you will have good experiences in auditing Investment Banks, with good knowledge in FX, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equities, Derivatives and all of the associated technical risk and finance functions (VaR, MaR, Credit Risk)
You will be leading and managing parts or all of global audit assignments (dependent on experience), and should show ability to pass your knowledge on to junior members of the team
Requirements:
- Strong University Degree from a recognised institute
- Experience of working in an investment banking audit on internal control team, covering traded capital markets (FX, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equities, Derivatives etc)
- Big 4 FS/Investment audit experience also considered
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-location team
- Ability and willingness to travel between 20 - 40% of the year.
