Global Bank – Senior Corporate & FI Analyst – Dutch Fluency a must – Germany recruitment
Although this role is based in Berlin, the business language is English (all rating reports are written in English; team meetings and telephone conferences are held in English), so the ability to speak German is not at all necessary. However all customer documentation, such as annual reports, news and websites will be in Dutch.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure quality control over financial analysis (balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement, notes to accounts and evaluation of financial ratios)
- Manage a dynamic international portfolio comprising of corporates, financial institutions and non-bank FIs
- Ensure quality and accuracy of financial spreads, market data, peer analysis and cashflow models/forecasts
- On-going monitoring surveillance of assigned international portfolio, including rating changes, market/industry development, news events etc.
- Facilitate development of industry / country expertise as relevant to assigned international portfolio
- Manage projects within agreed timelines
- Motivate the team and foster team spirit within the group
- Maintain relationships with the various internal depts./people such as local Transaction Pillar Credit Officers, Operations, IT etc.
- Create an environment of learning and responsibility
Ideal Candidate
- Credit relevant work experience within the corporate financial services industry e.g. research/analytics role in another Bank / Rating Agencies etc.
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial markets and economic/industry trends
- Preferably strong accounting background, knowledge of financial ratios, financial statement analysis
- Must be a self-starter, be pro-active in bringing new ideas and solutions to the table
- Demonstrate ability to manage own time effectively, multi task, quickly absorb ideas and facts while maintaining a eye for detail
- Excellent organizational and administration skills
- Ability to apply entrepreneurial skills to develop processes and activities
- Strong foreign language skills (verbal written)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong language skills in Dutch
