Overview of Division
Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management provides investments advice and financial services tailored for specific clients needs to HNW and UHNW clients. In every aspect of our relationship with our clients, we offer a rare combination of proven strategies, innovative products, global reach, local market knowledge and personal attention – all focused on the continued wealth creation of our clients. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we have instituted a team-based strategy which is focused on operating from our strengths – which are products and advice.

Responsibilities
• You will be joining a small team of 3 professionals reporting to the Head of Private Wealth Management Operations Australia
• Supporting the daily administration of client investment portfolios including product trade allocations, settlements, cash payments, margin lending, corporate actions, and account opening and maintenance
• Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Portfolio Reporting to clients including, transactional, valuation, performance and taxation purposes
• Reconciliation of client portfolio's, cash accounts, asset positions, income payments and entitlements
• Quarterly invoicing and debtor management for client accounts
Providing a high level of client service for our high net worth clients including phone calls, emails and written correspondence
• Working with key internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and timely response to client requests
• Supporting operational projects and process improvements initiatives

Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An interest and understanding of the Financial Services / Banking industry with relevant tertiary and/or industry studies
• High levels of attention to detail
• Have a willingness and desire to work within a cohesive and collaborative team
• Flexibility to interchange within a team and take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Be able to problem solve and prioritise, often in high pressure situations
• Awareness of Operational risk and the various controls required to settle all underlying transactions
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation principles in relation to Income and Capital Gains Tax for Investments
• Technical Corporate Actions understanding
• Diverse financial products understanding across all major asset classes including Cash, Equities, Managed Funds, Private Equity, Fixed Interest/Bonds, Derivatives and Structured Products

• 2 – 5 years experience within Operations. Private Wealth Management or Private Banking Operations preferable
• A working knowledge of all major asset classes including Australian Equities, Fixed Income, International Equities, Alternative Assets and Structured Products preferred but not essential
• Detailed corporate Actions understanding and strong investment tax reporting knowledge for Australian Residents
• Flexible working hours
• Proven process improvements focus and process driven
• Advanced Excel skills preferable
