The role:
Global Clearance (is a part of
JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services, a division of Treasury and Securities Services) provides global and US (Fed and DTC) clearance and settlement services for clients through a mixture of direct depository memberships and an international network of agent banks, supporting a sophisticated client base which includes Broker Dealers, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, and Prime Brokers.
Global Clearance is a very fast and consistently evolving business, requiring highly motivated individuals to participate in and contribute to our aggressive business agenda. We are currently looking for a driven, self-motivated product manager, who will be part of the Americas based product team at a Vice President level.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, product manager, who will be part of the U.S based product team reporting into the Americas Regional Product manager lead in New York.
Autonomy and initiative taking are a pre-requisite, and prior experience in product management and project management in financial services is desirable.
The individual will be responsible for helping define and enhance the product to create a clear product agenda that ensures the Americas region generates planned margin through partnership with the
US sales and relationship managers.
This will involve helping determine new markets, client segments and working with existing clients to ensure that their requirements are met.
The specific activities in the role include:
Partnering with the Product, Risk, Credit, Sales and Relationship management teams to:create a forward looking agenda of existing client's requirementsanalyze new product and service requests from clients and translate their requests into product/service enhancements, ensuring an adequate return on investmentprovide support through the sales cycle -pricing reviews/approvals, RFPs, SME support, client/prospect interaction and presentation, credit approvals, approval of
contract changessupport the development and roll-out of new productsrepresent the
US market for GlobeClear at New Business Initiative Approval and Transaction Approval forumsmanage riskanalyze and report on
US financialsparticipate in financial planning for the
US region
