Internal Sales Consultant

Develop, maintain and grow relationships with Advisors in the assigned territory

 

Tailor and target, the sales efforts of the firm, national accounts, marketing Partner with external wholesaler in coordinating sales activities to create highest penetration, sales growth and asset retention of DeAWM active, passive and alternatives products to meet or exceed territory sales goals.

 

Responsibilities Include:

Proactively deepen existing relationships by regularly providing our views on the market, product updates and identifying cross-sell opportunities

 

Make prospecting phone calls on a daily basis to uncover opportunities in the territory and develop new clients

 

Deliver effective sales presentations via phone and occasional in-person meetings that support DeAWM products, marketing programs, and that are aligned with our client needs.

 

Generate prospective leads through DeAWM advisor, consultant and national accounts relationships

 

Actively maintain a list of prospective clients with detailed profile information segmented by product interest and opportunity size to ultimately grow efficiencies

 

Skills Required:

Proven sales skills and aptitude, preferably as an internal wholesaler

 

Series 7/ 63

 

Knowledge of capital markets client base

 

Attend and utilize training opportunities to develop the necessary sales skill sets and technical product knowledge to improve selling effectiveness and

 

Illustrate proficiency in leveraging technology systems and applications.
