Global Consultant Relations Analyst

We serve institutional and retail clients in more than 60 countries, including pension funds, foundations, endowments, official institutions, insurance companies, sub-advisory relationships, high net worth individuals, family offices and private banks. Further, we work to cultivate relationships with key distributors of our investment products, such as broker-dealers, banks, registered investment advisers, financial planners, insurance companies and building societies.
The Global Consultant Relations (GCR) team is part of the Institutional Client Business. GCR is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with global, regional and local consultants across all asset classes, as well as preparing institutional new business proposals. Primarily based in the US and UK, the group is also represented in Japan, Asia and Australia.
Role Description:
GCR is seeking a motivated professional to join the team. Primary responsibilities include preparation and writing of responses to institutional RFPs and due diligence questionnaires, as well as managing consultant databases. The successful candidate will also support consultant relationship professionals within GCR as needed. This position involves exposure to all groups within the BlackRock organization and the opportunity to interact with professionals at all levels. The successful candidate will develop BlackRock product and systems knowledge, project management skills, client service skills, and will strengthen written and verbal communication skills.
Skills Qualifications:
- ? 0-2 years of relevant experience; desired experience includes institutional asset management consulting, client relations, consultant coverage, RFP writing, etc.
- ? Understanding of institutional investment marketplace
- ? BA/BS degree in related field; enrollment in CFA program a plus
- ? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ? Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- ? Effective team player; ability to prioritize and work with people of all levels
- ? High level of self-motivation, with strong integrity ethics
- ? Demonstrated analytical ability
