Overview:

Global Credit (GC) is part of GM and one of Deutsche Bank's highest profile business areas, well-positioned to take advantage of the current difficult trading conditions. The bank is already one of the largest players in the Credit Derivatives market, with new franchises and product lines continually being developed and marketed by the business. The business unit is highly successful and comprises of Credit Default Swaps, Credit Correlation, Structured Credit Trading and Structured Products.

Key Responsibilities:

Specifically, you will have experience in performance benchmarking, goal setting, goal monitoring, business case development, and stakeholder management. This is a rich opportunity for you to join the firm at a relatively senior level and make an immediate contribution while also learning the specific content knowledge and skills specific to a sales and trading business within capital markets.

You will effectively communicate key issues and challenges to key stakeholders and Senior Finance Management for ABS and correlation products. You will provide support and recommendations to the business and senior members of Finance with regards to new structures and business opportunities that will help maximize shareholder wealth. You will explain quarterly and annual performance to senior management in terms of revenues and use of resources such as capital and balance sheet. You will have an understanding of the following;

- Underlying risks together with market movements such that gains and losses can be explained
- The pricing of positions for example are the correct prices and models in place
- The credit and market risk movements associated with the balance sheet
- Monitoring and controlling progress on mitigating actions against requirements to ensure remediation of accounting/valuation risks
- Act as the banks point of contact to the regulators
- Formalise accurate budgets to help the form plan for the future

You will have:

- A First Class Degree, MBA or Masters in Finance or equivalent
- Exposure to Asset Backed Securities (ABS), Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) and Collateralized debt obligation (CDO) with a strong understanding of pricing, structure and market- A Strong maths background with problem solving skills and analysis techniques
- Project management and business analysis skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively articulate issues and risks across a variety of levels
- An appreciation of Control and Risk frameworks

You will be:

- Team player, with good presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including VBA
