Our client is a leading IT Services firm with operations across the globe. This position is a very important part of their growth strategy for the BFSI vertical.
Position background:
The position heads Banking Delivery for the organization and owns PL responsibility.
The incumbent would be expected to define and lead strategy, implementation, operational planning / excellence, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted programs.
• This works very closely with business customers to understand business needs and requirements to provide recommendations and improvements to processes, projects and services.
• Incorporates industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking, and enforces standards, key measures and ethics.
• Integrates and aligns with other processes and solutions.
• Supports executive decision-making, reports program and implementation status, identifies skill gaps and initiates activities to close the gaps.
The position works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
Ideal Incumbent:
• Must have led / handled very large Delivery engagements with budgets / revenues (depending on which side) around USD 150 M+
• Extensive experience within the Banking and Financial Services
• Should have handled multi country/currency engagements and would have a very good understanding of various geographies from a culture and strength perspective
• Should be very strong at Relationship Management with CIOs and CTOs with large Banks
• Should be able to influence decisions at senior levels and have very strong expectation management skills
• Should have ideally got some experience on Banking Products
• Should have a proven ability to identify, anticipate and resolve risks and conflicts. Should also be able to manage Client specific issues /queries and do assumption management
• Must establish and jointly define with the senior members of the management, a strategic roadmap for the organization for the Banking vertical
• Should have the ability to refine client feedback and expectations into prospective process improvement and add value to the client on a continuous basis.
