Responsible for consolidating a monthly rolling 12 month demand plan across all regions and facilitating the Global Demand Planning process between regional Demand Management and Global Product teams to ensure regional demand plans are submitted in full on time to the global SOP function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for consolidating a monthly rolling 12 month demand plan across all regions.
• Facilitate the Global Demand Planning process between regional Demand Management and Global Product teams to ensure regional demand plans are submitted in full on time to the global SOP function.
• Proactively identify demand trends, significant changes to forecast and gaps between the financial and volumetric forecast. Lead discussions with business process owners, provide guidance and seek consensus on action plans to address forecast gaps.
• Provide feedback to the ELT on leading Demand Management KPI’s via a Global SOP dashboard.
• Own the Demand Management function across the organization, utilizing best of breed tools across the regions to promote one set of numbers.
• Developing and optimizing the global demand management process and system by management of regional demand plans on a monthly cycle to increase customer service levels, financial objectives and inventory planning.
• Co-ordinate and facilitate inputs for the global SOP process on a monthly basis with responsibility for maintaining the global SOP Demand Planning database.
• Review current regional forecasting processes and systems, and identify opportunities to improve Demand Plan accuracy across the tactical and strategic horizons. Work with regional Demand Planning and Global SOP to realize these improvements.
• Report on variations in global demand and lead the forecasting process across global markets to promote granularity and transparency of the demand plans.
• Drive improvements in demand flow performance by optimizing the demand plan with best of breed automation and optimization tools. Investigate and roll out across the regions.
• Ensure all sources of demand are captured within the regional demand plans. Investigate the use of statistical forecasting models to develop forecasts for regional independent demand.
• Prepare information relative to Global Demand Planning performance indicators including demand plan accuracy and variability, demand exceptions and information on new product activity. Drive accountability of the regional Demand Management KPI’s via the ELT.
• Standardize regional Demand Management practices and processes via the creation of policies, procedures and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial or Operations Management, or related field, or its equivalent.
Experience: Requires a minimum of ten years of experience in demand planning or related field. Demand Planning (I2, Manguistics, Mercia Links) systems knowledge with implementation experience in a large multinational is mandatory.
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
• Excellent knowledge of MS applications, ERP systems and/or APICS related knowledge.
• Strong understanding and use of statistical forecasting models preferred.
• Strong understanding of regional Sales Marketing activities and their relationship with the Global Demand Planning function.
• Influencing, planning skills and the ability to implement global forecasting policies and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Managing the specific demand flow operational issues by working cross-functionally with those involved in the regional demand flow process.
• Able to remain proactive and focused towards customer service and continuous improvement whilst challenging assumptions and data across the various business activities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently and be team oriented.

This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
