POSITION OVERVIEW:  Part of the Global Desktop Engineering team, the responsibilities of this position are to plan, design, and implement desktop virtualization technical solutions and applications.  Key to this position is ensuring that business requirements are met.  Considered the guru of information in desktop/application virtualization this position works collaboratively with other technical partners and teams.  Ensure that technology vision and planning is up to date through evaluation of best practices in the industry.  Provide level 3 engineering and support of the client computing platform, along with ongoing maintenance to ensure security and stability.


REQUIREMENTS:

** Bachelor’s degree

** 3+ years experience in desktop management at an enterprise level

** 2+ years project management experience

** 2 + years experience in 2 or more of the following:

            -- OS                                       -- networking

            -- hardware                              -- Unified Communications

            -- mobile computing                -- email

            -- applications                          -- database

            -- Active Directory                  -- Group Policy

** Background includes working with a global client base

** Virtualization experience:

            -- Desktop Build: VMWare View, Citrix XenDesktop)

            -- Application Build: Microsoft App-V, XenApp, InstallFree, Endeavor, Thin App, etc.

** Proven passion for customer service and drive to understand customer’s needs

** Demonstrated ability in using technical evaluations and product solutions to fulfill business requirements

** Strong interpersonal/communication skills that allow for good collaboration with cross functional teams

** Proven ability in keeping current on technology and passion for learning
