Global Diversified Prop Trading House – C++ Programmer – Google-esque work environment! – London recruitment
I am working closely with a diversified financial services firm with global presence. The firm bases its success on creating / leveraging market-leading trading and technology.
The development dept. comprises of multiple teams. The teams work together to build sophisticated tools which assist in the trading of securities and derivatives on markets spanning across Europe, Asia, Australasia and the US. All development teams work together to achieve the same goal; “fastest and best trading systems”.
An opportunity therefore exists for a C++ developer to join the European development team in London. This role would involve facing off to the business, working with traders to implement new ideas and further enhance their proprietary trading applications.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Exceptional C++ with strong OOD skills.
- STL and/or BOOST Libraries.
- Real-time systems development.
- Network Software Development / Socket Programming (TCP/IP/UDP)
- Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Cross-platform development – Unix/Windows.
A Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant degree is absolutely essential.
