Global Emerging Markets Materials Equity Analyst recruitment
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
• Bottom up, research driven, multi-manager environment.
• To undertake sector and company research on Emerging Market Materials companies via company visits primarily, trade journals, own network, industry experts and brokers to understand the industry and its characteristics and the effects of change on an organisation’s current and future financial performance and share price.
• Participate in management of money in the relevant sector
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships between our client and companies in Emerging Markets .
• Contribute to the development of the Research Portfolio, emerging market funds and other portfolios.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Quality: Responsible for quality and accuracy of own research. Every analyst is responsible for having working financial models for the companies under coverage.
• Coverage: Propose coverage plan. Implement and maintain. Make sure that both the coverage list and the action list are correct for stocks under coverage.
• Communication: Responsible for the communication of his/her research. At least one sector review per year must be produced.
• Assessment: self assessment.
• Research Portfolio Construction: Primary responsibility for stock picking. Propose ideas for sector bets.
