The Department

The Global Equity Department manages more than 320 diversified mutual funds, over 60 industry specific funds with total assets under management of more than US $678 billion.  The Equity Department consists of several focused research and portfolio management teams, with more than 310 Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts and Research Associates.

The Position

The Global Equity Research Analyst will be assigned a group of companies comprising a sub-sector of a specific industry and will analyze those companies' stock performance and economic fundamentals.  The Analyst will meet with top corporate management teams, UK and EU industry experts, Wall Street analysts and experienced colleagues in order to develop investment recommendations to support the work of Fidelity's portfolio managers.

This position is located in London, England.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, management or related discipline.  Demonstrated success during academic career and/or prior professional work or personal investing.

Skills

Highly motivated, able to travel, possess strong analytical and communication skills, good working knowledge of the securities markets, ability to work under pressure and to time constraints.
