The Role
Bloomberg's Facilities Services Department has an open position for a Real Estate Analyst. The position requires capital forecasting, expense budgeting, presentation, report creation and strong analytical skills. Reporting requirements include occupancy comparisons, desk utilization, space planning, location comparatives for capital / expense and typical financial month results. Financial responsibilities include budgeting for capital projects, budgeting for operating expenses, project tracking, and project close-outs. Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Point are required. Share Point and SAP knowledge is advantageous. This role requires the candidate to review many systems and processes currently in progress by the Global Facilities and Design department and make improvement recommendations. This individual will also be involved in all current system enhancement projects and report to management the latest status, issues, and resolutions. There is interaction with many internal departments such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, PC Support, Leasing and numerous external facility vendors. The position requires use of a Facilities work ticketing system. This individual needs to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and / or Real Estate
- 2+ yrs experience in a corporate and / or real estate environment
- Capital budgeting experience
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritizing skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Superior analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficiency with SAP or any ERP system
- Proficiency with Share Point
- Proficiency with TRIRIGA or any space planning system
- Familiarity with construction drawing / documents
