Global Finance Regulatory Reporting Analyst

An opportunity has arisen within one of the worlds largest banking and financial services organisations. This bank is currently recruiting for a qualified accountant with relevant experience to join the regulatory reporting systems team, the primary role of this team is to provide project management, business analysis and support function for Group Regulatory reporting.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of systems, knowledge of FSA and other regulatory reporting requirements, knowledge of accounting and consolidation issues along with excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform the testing, implementation and of existing and new regulatory reporting systems and processes
Assist analysis and documentation of business requirements for regulatory reporting systems and to contribute to and review proposed system design solutions
Provide guidance, training and support to users, internal customers and other analysts
Maintain, develop, test, implement and support all existing and new regulatory reporting tools and processes
The role requires a good understanding of credit risk calculation treatment of banking book products across both standardised and internal rating based approaches with focus on the FSA004, FSA045 and Pillar 3 submission. Also knowledge of Basel 3 / CoRep requirement would be an advantage
