Global Finance Regulatory Reporting COREP MI Workstream Contractor recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
• Functional and User Acceptance testing of the new regulatory reporting system and data analytics tools
• To assist in the MI business process and reporting enhancements; which will result from the go-live of Common Reporting (CoRep) in Q1 2013, which will involve writing business requirements
• Liaison with key users of regulatory management information (global businesses) and providers (regions, sites) to identify requirements on a current and forward-looking basis
• Help facilitate the Regulatory MI function to capture the benefit of all operating model improvements and minimise the adverse impact risk to existing business proposals and deliverables
Person Requirements:
• Qualified Accountant
• Strong banking and finance business and product knowledge
• Strong HSBC systems knowledge or the willingness to learn HSBC systems
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent technical writing skills, in respect of documenting business requirements
• Sound knowledge of management information systems and technical interpretation skills
• A good understanding of the business drivers of MI development
• Credit risk and regulatory capital demand knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in improving existing MI business processes and / or MI reporting
• Experience working within or alongside a project framework, toward a project-related deliverable(s)
• Strong MI systems usage and understanding
