Global Fixed Income Research Manager Job in City Of London, London Uk
Overview:
The Research Team Manager is responsible for managing the research team globally, formulating policies, provide high level training, liaising and building relationships with the banks, maintaining data quality standards and expanding data coverage. The Fixed Income team focuses on working with the Debt Capital Markets (Fixed Income / Sovereign etc) and Syndicated Lending teams within the Investment Banks.
Responsibilities include:
• Personnel Management: Recruitment, performance reviews, benchmarking; Coordination and supervision of the Fixed Income team in London, New York and Hong Kong
• Evaluating research materials and resources to ensure that all research staff have the right tools for the job
• Data Management and processes: Ensuring that data / analytics timeliness, quality and accuracy meet the demanding expectations of clients and conforms to standards / Data Integrity Guarantee
• Improvement and development of existing data entry system, to enhance product and accommodate changes in the structure of Fixed Income transactions, as well as client needs
• Responsible for Fixed Income criteria monitoring trends, presenting improvement suggestions, market verification through running annual forums / ad hoc workshops, update and maintenance of documentation
• Relationship Management and Relationship Building: Key contact for all clients and major banks on data and reconciliation issues, responsibility for maintaining and expanding the current network of contacts
• Liaising with Product Director and Relationship Management to formulate special project plans, compile documentation, create timelines and execute.
