Global FP&A Manager recruitment
Investigo are representing a leading global insurer in their search for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with substantial experience within the Commercial Insurance industry.
This is a high-level position, providing detailed FPA, including hands-on data analysis and handling, in addition to close interaction with senior stakeholders and business leaders. You will carry out the following:
- Develop in-depth understanding of the underwriting PL, relevant business drivers, market conditions and key initiatives in order to provide insightful information that supports decision making.
- Draw connections between the impact of key initiatives, financials and KPIs.
- Prepare the quarterly business review presentation – link analytical review of PL, business drivers and impact of key business initiatives by region to represent business performance
- Develop understanding of the cost base by Region to provide recommendation on optimising
- Understand the impact of the cost decisions on the production, loss, and commission ratios. This would involve meaningful analytics on: Headcount, Direct cost by function and category where appropriate, indirect cost by function
- Work with Enterprise Risk Management /Capital management on capital and risk related profitability measures.
- Support ad-hoc financial information requests from the Profit Centres – likely to include Reinsurance issues
- Support the Specialty 3-5 year planning process by interacting with the Profit Centre management and the Regions in order to create meaningful long-term forecasts.
- Use the outcome of the 3/5 year plan to support the review and targets of the annual budget process.
