The Product Controller will work closely with Traders, IT professionals, and other accounting professionals throughout Trading worldwide. The Product Controller will play an active role within the organization; this will provide the individual the unique opportunity of experiencing and learning the business of commodity trading from multiple perspectives.

Responsibilities:

PL Reporting and Analysis.

- Report PL daily.

- Build PL reporting tools including attribution analysis.

- Develop analysis for senior management.

- Calculate and report economic vs US GAAP storage adjustment daily.

Control Environment

- Perform pricing checks (i.e. Benchmark vs Heren, Summer/Winter spreads) and submit end of month TOTEM Reporting.

- Design and implement control processes and checks.

- Reconcile month end general ledger PL to mid-office system PL.

- Compete month end balance sheet reconciliations.

Business Development and Improvement

- Assist operations and front office with position reporting and other ad hoc requests.

- Project work including system upgrades and associated testing.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

- Gas product control experience.

- Solid understanding of the EMEA gas market.

- Self-starter with a proven ability to deliver results in high-stakes environment.

- Ability to communicate with peers and management in a clear, concise manner.

- High level of proficiency in Excel (comfortable with Pivots and V Lookups).

- Experience in daily interaction with traders.

- Accurate and diligent

Preferred:

- Proficiency in Access and SQL
