Global Head of KYC On-Boarding recruitment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a top-calibre individual to become the Global Head of KYC On-Boarding at our client; one of the world's finest investment banks. This high-profile opportunity is based in the London Docklands.

The bank's on-boarding function seeks a global head of KYC to have ultimate responsibility for the overall success of managing the remediation process globally. This will include:
-Creating a global remediation team to support this initiative with staff across the various regional hubs
-Implementing the global remediation project
-Assisting the KYC management in establishing a new off-shore service centres and ensuring appropriate remediation processes are off-shored.
-Transitioning KYC processes from remediation to run the bank
-In association with the training manager, implementation of the training and development framework to manage the intake of new hires
-Preparing KYC profiles in accordance with the group policy, obtaining documents as required from the client/relationship manager and undertaking the necessary due diligence checks
-To be the 'face' of KYC services with stakeholders in all matters relating to KYC remediation
-Create and develop a culture of meritocracy, high performance standards and high achievement
-Create development plans for key individuals in remediation team within KYC, and employ succession plans

The successful global head of KYC on-boarding will have:
-Proven business and operational experience within the finance and banking industry environment (e.g., fund administrator, brokerage house, custodian, investment bank etc.)
-Business project management experience
-Very strong management or programme management skills
-Strong matrix management skills
-Experience of change programmes involving technology and operations
-Structured approach to programme and project management
-Proven track record in delivering multi workstreams, cross organisational/geographical business and change within the securities industry
-Experience in risk management field, and proven ability to support the development of the business activities while robustly applying risk management disciplines and controls
-Previous experience of building relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users
-KYC/AML experience would be preferred.
