Global Head of Risk and Compliance – Trust and Fund Administration Business, Jersey recruitment

It is really dynamic business that is shortly planning to further expand their services worldwide. The Global head of Risk Compliance will lead strategic projects across the globe and will be involved in their 5 year ambitious strategic business plan. He/she will advise the board, manage projects, ensure the compliance for current offices, new offices on emerging markets and assess the risk on corporate acquisitions. As the business is undergoing a period of fast growth, this role will become both challenging and varied and this should be a strong motivator for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities :

- Responsible for the Compliance and Risk department for the whole group
- Responsible for the Client Risk Compliance Department oversight (managing a small team in Jersey, as well as oversight on other locations/resources, the team will grow with the business)
- Collaborate with Corporate Governance and Business Development to manage compliance issues when establishing new offices, launching new products etc.
- Prepare and update the Risk Compliance business plan with any amendments
- Anticipate developments in the financial services regulatory and legal environment
- Assess the regulatory impacts on the Group
- Maintain effective policies procedures relating to AML/CFT/Fraud Prevention
- Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer and MLRO
- Manage responsible for regulatory compliance in each offices
- Ensure efficient arrangements for complying with local financial services regulations and legislation
- Implementing changes to AML CFT laws and regulations in each of the jurisdictions

You profile :

- Strong Regulatory, Risk and Compliance background
- Strong experience in financial services, Trust and Fund Administration
- International exposure
- Outside of the box thinker
- Outstanding communication skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Fluency in English and preferably a second language although not essential
