Global Investment Bank Head of Algorithmic Trading Technology recruitment
My client is a global investment bank in need of a hands-on Regional Lead for their market-leading Algorithmic Trading technology team. The candidate will lead a world class team of onshore and offshore developers for the Algo platform which is used across the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
• Heading up a small team of high-calibre developers, in addition to hands on coding work
• Design, construction, and validation of automated trading strategies
• Driving continuous enhancement of all algorithms and system components including analytics, messaging middleware, and the execution platform.
• Clear and concise technical design documentation and program codes for the Algorithmic Trading Framework
• Full project lifecycle management – requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and project rollout
Requirements:
• VP Level Hire
• Any OO Language background of Java, C++, or C#
• Hands on candidate with track record of team lead experience (onshore and offshore)
• KDB ability is a plus
• Excellent understanding and experience with Front Office Cash Equities systems (OMS, Exchange Connectivity, Algorithmic Trading, FIX).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to face off to the business and lead a world class development team
