Location: Nottingham

Salary: £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm

Our client is recognised globally as the leading manufacturer and supplier of pressure sensitive tear tape and a growing provider of labels and narrow web printing. They are also the pioneer of coated film products for the encapsulation and lamination of print and document authentication products. They operate from nine sites in seven countries worldwide and employs over 350 people. Within these facilities they has access to a range of printing technologies from gravure through to digital, along with a range of specialist coating and converting equipment.

The overall function of this role is to provide excellent service to our international customers by supporting them directly or through the Key Account Director, Key Account Managers, Customer Service Team and Sales Managers

You will be working closely with the Customer Service Manager and team to ensure that service levels to customers are maintained and improved upon which is balanced with company requirements.

In this role you will need to understand forecasting, budgets and sales figures.

You will be responsible for:

* support the Key Account Director for Global Key Accounts
* provide superb customer service in the routine provision of price quotations, internal and external reporting, and direct face-to-face contact
* through process and procedure ensure that increased professionalism within the sales and business development arena is maintained to deliver reporting to match the desired structure
* to be a key stakeholder within Global Key Accounts
* take ownership of defined business processes within Global Key Accounts to include forecasting, implementation of product pricing, margin improvement and sales pipeline
* optimise the understanding of your customers organisation, product portfolio, customer needs and the decision making tree
* build and develop the network within your customers organisation
* through product and customer focus, seek to improve the comapnies position as the supplier of choice for Global packaging solutions

Your key accountabilities are to drive up business standards and values, support global key accounts and improve upon customer service, ensure that order processing is maintained in a professional and timely manner. To assist with forecasting  and sales activities, to maintain and update the internal CRM database and provide cover within the business where necessary.

Your suitability will be assessed upon team working, problem solving, personal presentation, innovation and quality, flexibility, customer service and the ability to take ownership and responsibility.

You will have previous experience within a customer facing role, perhaps Field Sales, you may also have Export Sales experience.

You will have strong negotiating skills, be able to lead projects, possess commercial awareness and prioritisation skills.

You will possess a minimum of 5 GCSE's, although a degree would be advantageous.

You will have strong Microsoft skills to include Excel to a high level (Pivot tables) and PowerPoint as you will be presenting to clients.

You will be confident, proactive, fexible, able to travel (European and Global travel will be required on a regular basis) and self motivated.
