We currently have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Global Librarian/Modeller for our client in Florham Park, NJ. As a Global Librarian, you will work within the Oncology Operations Group providing strategic guidance for Data Standards deployment and global harmonization as well as reviewing and maintaining global standards related documents. The Global Librarian will be working with Clinical Science/Business Units (CSUs/BUs) and a Standard Governance Board to transform data collection requirements into data models. As such, you will act as a consultant to CSUs/BUs for Clinical Data Standards, Data Modeling and OC/RDC setup, including validation procedure development. Additional duties will include: Providing input to OC Global Librarian team in developing and maintaining standard objects for OC standard Global Library. Providing disease area knowledge and data model/technical expertise in the establishment of data standards. Collaborating with Clinical Standards Office and Clinical Data Standards (CDS) Governance in design, development and implementation of data models and metadata for new or changed standard pages (Global and CSU/BUs-specific) for collection and submission Ensuring alignment between OC Global Library Objects and Metadata Repository SKILLS In order to be successful within this role, qualified candidates should have a strong knowledge of Data Clinical Standards, including disease areas/BUs, data models and their implementation for database and GLIB development. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Life Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, Biology or equivalent as well as 3 to 5 years of proven experience in clinical data modeling, including OC Global Library System and/or Metadata Repository. A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Data Modeling, including disease area(s), BUs, OC and GLIB processes will be given preference.
