Job Description

The
purpose of the role is to manage the activities of markets trend and evolution
analysis on worldwide basis, the marketing coordination and competitive
landscape monitoring for Global Construction Business.

The function requires to manage 4 key areas:

Long term plan (3/5 years Strategic Business Plan) management

 Manage the coordination of the industry forecast process definition with Regions, according to current industry trend evolution and macroeconomic construction drivers monitoring and analysis; compare internal proposal with main external construction analysts forecasts (i.e. Off-Highway Research, Machinery Outlook, Global Insight)

 As the owner of this process this position must:

 Meet and work with Regional Leaders to define targets segments/competitors, brand positioning/differentiation, value propositions

 Meet and work with Global Product Marketing Managers (PMM’s) to define long term product portfolio

 Meet and work with Regional Leader and Global PMMs to plan Sales and Share of Market 3/5 years plan

Executive Reporting / Brand and products 'KPI dashboard' reports

 Create and maintain Monthly reports with actual date by Brands, Region, Product Line, with variance analysis for Industry, Sales and Share of Market; and additional adhoc 

 Provide quarterly Profitability reporting by Brands, Regions, Product Lines, according to financial analysis through internal and external sources.

Executive meeting documentation preparation and input. 

 Manage Executive Meetings preparation (Management Meetings, AOP/Budget, Brand review etc.), manage the coordination of input from different Regional and Global functions.  This is a high visibility position ensuring complete accuracy; meeting critical deadlines and professional presentations provided at Executive Management meetings – monthly.

 Manage cross-functional  Strategic Projects, working together with Business Development, Network Development, Product Development functions on monthly analysis.

Regional Marketing coordination

 Maintain consistency in marketing approaches throughout the Regions

 Easy cross-fertilization and best practices sharing to the Regional marketing, i.e. customer segmentation, price positioning, business intelligence activities

 Market Researches planning, design and execution coordination, assuring consistency throughout the Regions
