Overview of Division
Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas. Global Banking offers advisory services, financing and transaction banking of the most innovative kind. Governments, institutions and corporates all come to us for the advice and solutions that have allowed us to shine in even the most challenging markets. Global Transaction Banking employs over 4,300 people in 42 countries. The business units include Cash Management, Trade Finance, Capital Market Sales and Trust and Securities Services.
Responsibilities
- Building of quantitative (empirical) asset price models, with a focus on equity markets
- Experience in working with portfolio construction techniques and global macro asset allocation an advantage
- Ad-hoc research projects of qualitative (macro-economic) and quantitative nature
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience in a financial markets research capacity preferred
- Bachelor/advanced degree in math/economics/finance desirable
- Must be self-driven, show initiative and be prepared to lead research projects
- At least a modest amount of computer programming experience
- Fluency in English required, Mandarin desirable
