GLOBAL MARKETS COMPLIANCE, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR recruitment

Responsible for advising on and monitoring all aspects of Global Markets businesses, but with specific responsibility for Equity Derivatives. To ensure that compliance functions within Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific operate so as to service management and business needs by setting an example as a commercially aware compliance resource and encouraging management to view Compliance as such. To liaise and work with regional and local Compliance in providing comprehensive Compliance Advisory support to relevant Global Markets businesses. Be aware of the Compliance related Operational Risk scenarios associated with the role and act in a manner that takes account of these considerations. Monitor whether Global Markets activities operate in such a manner and to take remedial action where necessary.

To qualify for the position, you should be a University graduate with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Experience of working in a Global Markets Compliance Advisory role essential. Knowledge of Equity Derivatives products and related regulatory requirements is a must. Broader Global Markets or Treasury product knowledge to include Equities, Futures/Options, Foreign Exchange and Debt/Fixed Income would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. Good understanding of regulatory requirements. Fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is a plus.
