Global Markets Risk Manager recruitment
Oversee and assist senior management within Global Markets front-to-back to identify, quantify and manage the Operational Risk profile of their business.
- Engage in key change management initiatives to ensure that operational risk exposure is considered and addressed.
- Perform independent reviews and provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively.
- Working as a key member of the Europe team the role will also involve liaising and working with ORIC colleagues in New York and Hong Kong.
Key requirements:
- Extensive experience within a Global Markets environment focused on Business Risk Management ideally within areas such as Front Office, Product Control or Market Risk
- A good knowledge of the control environment surrounding Global Markets products and a general level of understanding of key Global Markets products
- Candidate needs to be a team player with excellent inter-personal, communication and influencing skills and a confidence to deal with senior staff
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Would suit someone who is keen to gain active involvement in developing a relatively new function and be able to provide active input and ideas of how best to embed an evolving methodology.
- Project management skills a plus
