Global Portfolio Manager-Global Equities-Long Only
The Asset managers which currently have $8.5billion AUM are now looking to add to their highly successful team. The ideal candidate should come from a global equity background. The equities previously covered should be predominantly from developed equities however emerging market candidates will be considered.
The role requires a fast paced portfolio manager, who acts quickly upon investment opportunities. The office has a very entrepreneurial environment where investment proposals can be executed in a very short period of time. Excellent leadership skills are also required. The Portfolio Manager will join a team of 7 other Portfolio Managers. The successful candidate will also be given the freedom to invest within countries where they believe the greatest opportunities are. Although the role is globally focused there is considerable freedom to focus on 1 or 2 continental regions.
Requirements –
- 5 + years of experience
- Most recently Long Only experience, with a contrarian style.
- Global Equity background – Combination of emerging and developed welcome
- Experience managing a team and working within a entrepreneurial environment
- Confidence to manage a large portfolio
- Languages – English (other Languages are beneficial but not essential)
