Leading Investment Bank is looking for a VP level Prime Services Finance Manager who is a qualified accountant with several years Prime Services / Delta 1 Product Control / Finance Control to work in a small team to protect and create value across the Equity desks.
The Equities platform is built on three product lines – Global Equity Trading, Global Equity Derivatives and Global Prime Finance setting the standard in trading, origination, financing and distribution.
You will become a trusted advisor to Prime Services and show the ability to build this relationship through demonstrating a strong commercial understanding of regulatory issues impacting their businesses. The changing regulatory environment will have huge impacts upon the business model and so there for you would need to be adequately involved and linked in to the evolving regulatory landscape.
This role will therefore cover aspects of:
Daily validation of business results;
Assessment of the adequacy of the control environment;
Performance measurement and reporting
New business evaluation;
Structured transaction review;
Client profitability analysis;
As the Finance Manager role will include;
Daily trading revenues, reserves and attribution reporting including policy breach analysis
Finance resource charges;
Material contra revenue items;
IFRS, UK GAAP
Risk Weighted Assets;
Trading / Banking book review;
Quarterly IFRS disclosure review;
Fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA or ACCA) who possess proven leadership and influencing skills, with a background in Prime Services Product Control or Financial Control to join one of the leading commodities areas in London.
