The purpose of this role is to act as a change agent for Hyatt's Shared Service Operations by leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for the Account to Report process area. Along with building and maintaining strong relationships within the HSSC and its customers, this role will develop and maintain relationships with the supported business units to implement best practices and standardize practices. Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of Best-in-Class Centralized Account to Report services delivered by a global staff of approximately 70 team members Oversee Execution Provide direction and support to manage and direct the allocation of resources, performance, and any competing requirements to meet customer expectations Provide leadership to ensure the implementation of process and technology improvements related to the Account to Report function Responsible for the optimal use and adaptation of Oracle, enabling technologies, self-service applications and processes associated with the financial Shared Services model. Define and modify business requirements within Oracle and enabling technologies to meet changing business needs. Coordinate communication to the HSSC customer base (BPO, Hotel Operations, Hotel Accounting) to continually drive change and user adoption of tools and processes associated with the shared services model. Establishment and maintenance of appropriate accounting control environment for the entire global shared service operations Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Identify, evaluate and solution continuous improvement opportunities.
