Global Programme Manager at Leading Global Insurance Company recruitment

A leading global insurance company is looking for a Programme Manager to come in and take total accountability for planning, structuring, leading and executing global programmes to help ensure the alignment of the three organizational elements Corporate Strategy, Delivery of the mechanisms for change whilst ensuring a Business as usual environment is maintained. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the framework that will integrate and reconcile the competing demands for resources.

Responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for overall Program Scope management
Ensure early engagement with Stakeholders and manage engagement throughout the process
Actively manage the programme to ensure initiatives and supporting work streams, together with enabling projects are delivered and to escalate appropriately the situation if progress is delayed
Manage the programme’s budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs
Ensure provision of timely and transparent program/ project information to provide the Programme Sponsors, The Board and project sponsors with up to date material.
Ensuring the programmes adheres to Portfolio Governance and control.
Identify and priorities risks before they occur in order to minimise the negative impact to the program.
Build, manage and motivate the Programme team across multiple projects and countries.

My client is looking for a Prince2 practitioner with a minimum of 5 years experience in Programme/ Project Management within the insurance/ reinsurance industry. Candidates need to have implemented large programs requiring successful process design, technology integration and change management across multiple technology platforms and countries all whilst managing multiple stakeholders.
