Global Programme Manager recruitment
As part of a major global implementation a senior Project Management opportunity now exists with one of the fastest growing global fortune 500 firms. This role reports to the Regional CIO and will involve interaction with vendors, business stakeholders and internal IT teams to drive this critical project. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of finance systems and accounting principles with excellent knowledge of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Suite.
Responsibilities
- As the Global Project Manager your role will involve carrying out risk assessment management of issues concerning the Oracle system implementation including cost control budgeting, planning and managing a globally dispersed team.
- Design and development of monthly reporting packs, maintenance of currency conversion rates and execution of foreign currency calculation scripts with oversight of application security.
- Provide support and training assisting users to understand the consolidation process and budget models. Excellent communication skills will be required to convey difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Requirements
- At least 10 years post graduate experience in accounting and accounting system roles, ideally in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Suite with a strong knowledge of finance systems and accounting principles.
- Considerable exposure to and experience in accounting system implementation and with significant experience working with managed services contracts in a strategic sourcing or IT environment.
- You are tertiary qualified in IT, Accounting, Commerce or Law and have exceptional communication skills. Holder of Finance related professional qualification on the job or formal training in PMI and / or Prince 2
