Responsibilities include:
- communicating with users, gathering and analyzing requirements
- validating requirements agains existing application functionality
- design and development of new features
- updating of model spreadsheets for the features being developed
- providing support to operate teams and end users
- proficiency in Excel VBA
- experience working in a FO-supporting RAD team
- understand object oriented or functional programming paradigm
- understand how things work (key algorithms and data structures, basic protocols) and why do they work this way
- ability to understand what users really want, what we really have and how to reach a meeting point
Necessary Technology or Application Experience:
Excel and VBA
Desired Skills:
Java or C#, C++, Linux scripting
Understanding of interest rates derivatives
Education:
A degree in CS, Math, Physics or similar.
