JOB DESCRIPTION:
Due to continued success my client, a leading Global Automation Engineering is looking to recruit a Worldwide Sales and Marketing Director. This company provides high value, innovative, reliable and technically-advanced automation and MES solutions to the Life Science and Pharmaceutical industry. Working as part of the executive team this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy to ensure continued growth and customer acquisition. The successful individual will be responsible for:
· Managing and developing sales to existing customers and developing new business opportunities in Europe, US Asia.
· Developing and improving sales and marketing processes and system to ensure best practice, greater sales force effectiveness and operational excellence.
· Managing the global sales pipeline - working with local country managers to ensure a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
· Design and implementation of global marketing strategy across core services and new product suites to ensure highly effective marketing campaigns including print, web, tradeshows and exhibitions.
· Providing strategic input on new business ventures
The ideal candidate for this position will be
· Degree educated - ideally MBA qualified
· Must have a proven track record in selling complex solutions and services into Pharmaceutical and Life Science companies.
· Proven track record in global sales management and business development.
· Strong business acumen with the ability to manage, motivate and develop existing sales team
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
