Global Security Investigation – Regional Control Center Manager – Associate recruitment
The position of Regional Control Centre Manager is a key component in the security and safety profile of JPMC operations and forms an integral part in managing the Command Centre and providing direction and guidance in the management of incidents that may affect the Firm or any of its employees or assets.
The post holder will report directly to the APAC Regional Crisis Manager.
Manage the GSI APAC Regional Control Centre and ensure effective and efficient daily operations including:-
- Ensuring an adequate response to incidents arising from the Geoffrey Integrated Security System (access control and alarm response, CCTV management);
- Effective management and provision of training regarding Crisis Management procedures;
- Issue of appropriate Travel Advisories and coordination of protective services for business travelers.
- Provision of support services for corporate events.
- Monitoring security and safety incidents in Asia Pacific region.
- Compiling and dissemination of security alerts and reports.
- Remote monitoring of corporate events in Asia Pacific region.
- Monitoring of the emergency hot-lines for employees.
- Maintenance and updating of the GSI APAC website.
The management and deployment of Control Centre Supervisors and Operators.
Close coordination with the Technical Security Team to maintain the Geoffrey Integrated Security System.
Draft, implement, manage and review security and safety procedures and policies for GSI Asia Pacific region.
Action punctually and appropriately requests for data and other security related information.
Skills
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding and exposure to Control Center operations, security operations and crisis management functions
- Experience in leading and managing a team
- Experience in conducting trainings on security matters and safety/crisis management procedures
- Ability to liaise directly with senior management team in times of emergency
- Good written and communication skills
- Vigilant, decisive and the ability to handle demanding/difficult situations
- Previous experience working in a large financial institutions will be preferred
- Previous background in police, military or security environment will be preferred
