Purpose Of Role:       

To prepare all components of interim and final accounts and associated monthly reconciliation packs for a variety of funds.

Specific Duties:

Core

• Exhibit detailed understanding and execution of all A1 tasks and functions

• Take a pro-active interest in own training and development

• Develop expert knowledge of State Street systems

• Leverage strong working relationships built up with other teams/departments

• Perform more advanced work within the team and pro-actively assist others

• Liaise effectively with clients resolving issues timeously, and providing recognised service excellence

• Assist with controls and reviews within team

• Participate in projects impacting the wider group where possible

• Advanced query resolution, often working independently

• Provide on the job coaching for less experienced staff

• Actively participate in appraisal process by completing a self evaluation and suggesting appropriate development goals

• Ensure the line manager and others, as appropriate, are kept aware of all issues/problems/queries/work in progress that may impact the quality of service being provided

• Perform team housekeeping duties, filing, rota tasks

Pricing Specific

• Preparation of team reconciliations

• Preparation of pricing controls and reports

• Understanding and following all pricing specific checklists

• Adherence and knowledge of procedures

• Production of daily pricing packs

• Review of daily pricing packs

• Work in a manner that produces accurate results

• Work in a manner that produces timely results

• Liaise effectively with other State Street departments directly involved in the pricing process

• Perform standard review and control work

• Track deliverables

Skills/Experience

• Broad understanding of fund administration and pricing process

• Completion and review of pricing packs in adherence with regulations

• Demonstrate full understanding of basic accounting principles and the full pricing process

• Studying towards IAQ
