We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Country Project Lead to deliver significant compliance transformation. With a direct reporting line to the Country Head of Business Performance, you will play a significant and critical role in the success of RBWM's objectives and outcomes within this programme.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving RBWM's interests and ensuring delivery to programme requirements, according to agreed priorities;
- Taking execution decisions relating to RBWM solutions and escalating issues, risks and dependencies;
- Communicating, enabling and mobilizing the required activity to support transformation responsibilities;
- Providing executive level updates to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis on progress, the impact on the business and intervention where necessary;
- Understanding and managing programme client / stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Ensuring projects and programmes adhere to regulatory requirements, RBWM Group policies and standards and minimize general risk to the Group.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognized tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience;
- A proven record of effective management in a leadership role, including planning and decision making, identifying priorities and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large scale business initiatives– ideally in the regulatory space related to customer account opening/due diligence, within a Retail Banking Wealth Management context.
- A strong track record dealing with senior and executive sponsors and developing cohesive working relationships with internal / external stakeholders;
- The ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
