Department Summary:

The Fixed Income Division (FID) Global Product Control group is seeking to fill an Associate
position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, accounting, technology, people and communication skills. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Income statement (I/S) + Balance Sheet (B/S) reporting processes: Daily, weekly, monthly, QTRLY I/S + B/S calculations require critical self review and reporting. This position requires the understanding of PnL models (investment accounting) that generate equity pick up result that the candidate will report. Successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong accounting, communication and PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Primary Responsibilities:

?Back up of GSP reporting Analyst
?Calculation and critical self review of Monthly PnL. This requires the ability to understand and read Financial models and report pnl and associated cash and non cash impacts, such as return of capital, dividend accruals and tax credits.
?Set up of general ledger or sub ledger intercompany loans/associated reconciliations
?Update and maintain accurate files to support m/e reporting
?Work closely w/Business Unit, Operations, Legal Entity Controllers, Tax Department and third party providers on a regular basis to report balance sheet and income statement events (sub ledger and general ledger journals)
?Facilitation of general ledger close process monthly; includes the creation of Trial Balances for GSP entities with cost center details; adherence to 3R's rules and processes
?Preparation + critical self review of weekly revenue and balance sheet reporting for monthly Books to Reported differences and monthly restatement of reporting system and related journals
?Principal Investment - assist with the preparation of the monthly Principal Investment reporting - which also supports the QTRLY Y12 process
?Set up trading accounts, GL accounts, Support SEC line item clean up
?Support monthly reporting and QTRLY reporting - FED, SEC, Disclosures
?Perform ad-hoc analysis/projects as needed

Skills Required:
•Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting- must be able to read financial statements and models; reflect equity pick up/investing journals in sub ledger and GL
•College graduate to 5 years of experience
•Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
•Outstanding attention to detail and follow up
•Excellent organizational skills
•Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Strong analytical and technical skills including Excel and PowerPoint
•CPA
