Core Infrastructure Services (CIS) group within JPMorgan Chase is defined as the distributed, storage, IP network and Data Center services consumed by applications and enabling infrastructure in the Data Center. CIS, part of Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), consolidates all logical and physical activities performed across Data Center Operations, and most of Global Network Services and Distributed Technology Services.
The Global Data Supply Chain Manager will work as part of a team that establishes and manages supply chain standards globally. They will be considered a Subject Matter Expect with respect to Supply Chain. Responsibilities include:
- Successful development and delivery of Supply Chain / technology sourcing process transformation projects and day-to-day operations
- Successful implementation of Sales Operations Planning (SOP) within a technology organization
- Making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
- Coordinating and resolving issues regarding existing and new products
- Interacting with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met
- Assisting executive management in strategy development and product delivery cycles, and leading best practice development activities
- Leading the development of business case, process, and practice documentation
- Managing and coordinating production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to support the technology and supply chain objectives
- Defining and managing the strategic direction and logistic development needs of GTI
- Executing on Supply Chain / sourcing transformation development and delivery
- Translating business challenges into solutions
- Providing hands-on leadership, direction and mentoring to the CIS Capacity planning team
- Managing client and sourcing relationships
- 10+ years of professional experience working in supply chain management in a global technology environment in a financial institution; experience in Strategy and Transformation consulting highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- In depth experience with Customer Relations and Sales and Operations planning
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, organizational design, purchase to pay, and contract management
- Proven experience working with culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams
- Proven success maximizing productivity while minimizing expenses in both domestic and global supply chain operations
- In depth experience in policies and governance, performance measurement, supplier relationship management, supply chain benchmarking, and strategy assessment
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time is required, travel can be global in nature
- Demonstrated experience in change management and management of technology initiatives for large complex organizations is highly preferred
- Industry experience as a supply chain sourcing practitioner highly preferred
- Previous experience in technology leadership roles strongly desired
- Project Management experience is advantageous
