INVISTA is currently seeking a Global Supply Chain Planner/Analyst to join our Specialty Materials team. This role is integral to leading the worldwide Supply Chain planning process for one or more product families in Specialty Materials which consists of five product families and more than 70 different products with combined total volume 600 kT. Responsibilities by Role: Global Sales Operations Planning Process: Maintain Global Sales and Operations plan in an evergreen state. This requires frequent if not daily interaction with sales and marketing, operations, tolling and logistics world-wide. Preparation of the monthly Global Sales Operations Plan (18 month forecast, including feedstock forecast) for multiple products in the Specialty Materials portfolio leadership of monthly discussion. Improve forecast plan accuracy by working with Operations to develop reliable capability assumptions and with the Sales organization to forecast at a detailed level. Management of the demand delivery product flow in conjunction with proactively managing the global inventory levels. Maintain a detailed 90 day operating plan for Specialty Materials product lines and execute required changes to address variances. Provide clarity in the detailed plan that ensures consistency with the 18 month SOP and enables clear communication of details with leadership, internal stakeholders, and customers. During product shortages, lead order management planning and execution with clear allocation plans and timely communication processes. Commercial Scheduler: Commercial Scheduler for Sales, Operations, and Logistics connects for short term supply/demand management from a tactical basis focused on daily, weekly, monthly increments. 3rd party toll manufacture planning, contract administration execution. Elevate issues in a timely manner with appropriate framing using the decision making framework. Maintain close communication link with Operations 3rd party toll manufacturers to ensure alignment on tasking, a good understanding of operating limitations, and a closed plan that represents an optimized Supply Demand balance. Provide direction to Scheduler and Logistics for required product moves including forecasts work with Logistics to fully integrate distribution and optimization capability in globally. In all areas of responsibilities the candidates must have: Strong written verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Demonstrated leadership skills Good networking skills Strong analytical, problem solving negotiation skills Qualifications: 3+ years plant technical/operations experience in chemical industry 2+ years experience developing and analyzing plans in operations, supply chain or logistics Bachelors degree (or higher) in engineering, chemistry, or related fields Must have experience working to bring multiple functional groups together to make decisions and execute plans with urgency Experience in MS Office Software (Advanced Excel - pivot tables, multi-variable equation solving, spreadsheet creation/editing, data entry and analysis, Word - document creation/editing, and PowerPoint - presentation creation/editing) Experience with International Trade (Import/Export, country registrations, etc. Domestic International travel required is approximately 25% Qualifications Preferred: Experience with MRP software, SAP is preferred, for data mining and ability to execute fundamental SAP tasks We are an equal opportunity employer.
