Global Support Manager - Market Risk

A top tier Investment Bank has a vacancy for 'Global Support Manager' to run the Market Risk Support function. This role is part of a team of technologist's who support the Market Risk IT division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing front / back line support solutions for Market Risk. Key responsibilities include the maintenance of trading and reporting applications that service global clients. To do this you will manage effectively a global team of roughly 10-15 people. Ensuring that the environment is stable through a series of checkouts that will be proactively automated. Manage user related queries while problem solving coding inefficiencies. Keeping to SLA's and monitoring incident/problem management will be required. Managing stakeholder relationships is also a key part of this role.

The required skills include a background in Regional/Global Support management. An understanding of Risk/VaR would be highly beneficial. Technical skills in Windows/UNIX, Sybase/ SQL and Perl/ shell scripting would be ideal.
